Rob Reichert, E.I.T.
DESIGN ENGINEER
Born and raised around Chicago, IL, Rob knew since high school he wanted to be an engineer of some sort. Always wanting to understand how the world around him works, Rob naturally gravitated towards Civil Engineering. Attending Bradley University in Peoria, IL, he soon found his passion in Structural Engineering. Going on to be the team lead for his Structural Senior Design project and co-leader of the ASCE Steel Bridge team, Rob knew he wanted to push his career path towards structures. Because of that, he found himself moving across the country to Berkeley, CA to pursue his Masters of Structural Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley. Within a year of graduating, Rob found a fantastic opportunity with Peak. Here, he has found a place his passion for structures can flourish as he pursues his P.E. license. When not on the clock, Rob enjoys hiking with his wife, playing with his dog, and rooting for the Minnesota Vikings.

Josh Gable, E.I.T.
DESIGN ENGINEER
Josh attended school at Drexel University where he earned his BS in Civil Engineering. During his time at Drexel, he was able to gain experience in transportation, construction, and structural/civil engineering co-op positions at different firms. Josh chose to concentrate in structural design during his senior year as that is what interested him the most.
Following his college career, he made the move west to Colorado to seek out other employment opportunities. Josh joined the Peak team in 2019 eager to learn and grow his design knowledge in the industry. Josh is a design engineer on the team working on anything from small tenant improvement projects to full building designs.
When Josh is not working, you can find him enjoying the mountain life hiking, biking, and camping with his wife and their dogs.

Courtney Traore, CADD/BIM
TECHNICIAN
Courtney attended school at the University of Colorado at Boulder where she earned her BS in Architectural Engineering. During her time at CU, she helped teach the AutoCAD and Revit courses and worked on the CU facilities management civil engineering team. Courtney concentrated in structural engineering and construction management.
Courtney has worked as a structural engineer in training from 2013-2019 on a variety of projects including residential homes and multifamily housing design. In 2019 she decided to focus on her best skill set: drafting. She has happily been an AutoCAD / Revit drafter since that time.
When Courtney is not working, you can find her hanging out with her daughter Aaliyah and husband Thierry, hiking with her dog Solo, playing ultimate frisbee or snowboarding.

James Hein, CADD/BIM
MANAGER
James joined Peak Engineering in January of 2003 as a drafter, then worked his way up to Assistant CADD Manager and then promoted to CADD/BIM Manager.
Serving as Peaks CADD/BIM Manager, he uses AutoCADD and Revit as the preferred project document and delivery tools. His focus is to provide BIM production support, internal BIM training, research and development of BIM strategies for future business projects.
Fun Fact: James enjoys watching hockey, “Go AVs!”

Sean A. Wirth, P.E.
TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER
Sean joined Peak Engineering in 2013. Sean’s affinity for buildings began when he was in middle school while watching MTV Cribs. He was fascinated by the design of the homes he saw and decided to take a drafting class in high school. He continued learning about drafting through out high school and then continued his design journey at Colorado University in the architectural engineering department. He decided to switch to structural engineering to be more involved with the building side of design. Sean began his career at Peak as a drafter while pursuing his Masters. He was promoted to design engineer after 18 months and has continued to be an invaluable asset to Peak.
Fun Fact: Sean and a friend decide to join the Tiny Home trend and they built their own version of the hot commodity in Sean’s back yard. While the home is more of a shed these days, he thoroughly enjoyed the process.

Kelsey Welch, P.E.
PROJECT ENGINEER
Kelsey was inspired in high school to pursue a career in engineering due to the opportunities to make a difference. After completing her Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering at Marquette University she moved to Guatemala & Panama and volunteered with NGOs for 14 months building, managing, and engineering bridges, schools, and water systems. Kelsey then received her Master’s degree from Purdue and gained experience in heavy industrial and seismic property loss industries. At Peak, Kelsey enjoys being among fellow boilermakers and learning from all teammates. Kelsey has experience in foundations, cold formed, stainless, and hot rolled steel, shear walls and tilt-up buildings.
Fun Fact: When Kelsey is not in the office you can find her jetting off to Bolivia or Eswatini to build pedestrian bridges or the nearest Irish dance competition.

Phoenix Novikova, CADD/BIM
ASSISTANT MANAGER
Phoenix has been with Peak since 2018. She started as a BIM technician and has quickly become an invaluable member of our drafting department. Phoenix leads the BIM team and helps set high standards for the department.
