What is tilt-up?
Tilt-up concrete is a method of construction where concrete wall panels are cast on site and then tilted into place. The most common use is for big warehouses—or boxes. It is a cost effective and time efficient method of construction. Panels can be cast and then lifted into place in a matter of days. Entire buildings can be erected with lightning speed once the walls are poured. Unlike precast construction where the wall panels are cast off-site and trucked to the project, tilt-up does not have the same size restrictions—a tilt panel does not have to fit on the back of a semi or pass beneath bridges. It makes for a very efficient product in the world of warehouses.
Think Outside the Box
But tilt-up can be so much more if you’re willing to “think outside the box”. Multi-story offices, schools, hospitals, car dealerships, churches, and many other types of projects can easily be built out of tilt-up concrete.

Unlimited Possibilities
It has all the flexibility of cast-in-place and precast concrete to create unique shapes, finishes and looks for a project. Peak is a leader in the industry in the design of tilt-up concrete. With two of our members named to the Tilt-up Concrete Association’s Top 50 Influencers we work hard to bring tilt-up solutions to all manner of projects. Come explore the world of Tilt-up Concrete and discover the possibilities.
